Wall Hanging Red Glass Dragon

Opened the kiln today to find 2 large Glass Wall Hanging Red Dragons cuddling to keep warm. The kiln had only been up to 690 degrees Centigrade (1274 F). Well they are only newly born #dragons. They will be flying over seas to find a good home... Lucky beasties ;)  By the way they are £197 ($290) each. Here's a picture of one of the red dragons. My son has told me if you like the dragon I have to ask you to share him with your friends ;)

Glass Welsh dragon for St David’s Day (1st March)

St David’s Day is getting closer, so here is a red glass dragon climbing up a wall. The yellow tips are glass coated with 22 carrat gold.

Usually the Red Welsh dragon has an arrow head on the tail, but I thought I would give this one a flourish. For those who don't know The Red Dragon (Y Ddraig Goch) is a symbol of the Welsh Nation and appears on the Welsh flag.

The glass Red Dragon (Y Ddraig Goch) of St David’s Day

The glass Red Dragon (Y Ddraig Goch) is a good gift for St David’s Day. (Video)
I make the Welsh dragon out of clear glass it is then coated with lamp lacquer which is cured in a hot box. By the way it’s not true we make the dragons go red by embarrassing them. ;)

As you may know Saint David is the patron Saint of Wales, his day is 1st March, which is only 8 Days away!

Here’s a picture of the dragon:
