What excitement tonight! Shortly after a WI (yet another
nice group) evening visit the wires on our telegraph pole burst into flames. It
seems there was a loose connection. I’m not saying it was anything to do with
the fact I had just switched the Kiln on for the night time firing. What I want
to know what did the Women’s Institute do? What powers to they actually have? No electricity here at the Glassblobbery for most of the evening. Hears a picture near
the start of the power demise:
