A Glass Red Rose for Valentine’s Day...

I've been told a glass red rose is a romantic flower for Valentine’s Day. Or even just for the one you love at any time. Of course we've been doing roses for a long time. Here's a picture of a standing glass rose.

Glass Red Rose for Valentine's Day

The glass red rose like all the other flowers we make don't need watering.

On Valentine's Day, 2 dragons in love we're talking...
1st dragon "Do you know Cupid?"
2nd dragon "I think so? Wasn't he the guy who's arrows kept bouncing off my scales?"
1st dragon "Yes that's the one"
2nd dragon "What about him?"
1st dragon licking his lips says "I ate him."

There are some dragons on their way soon...

Glass red rose

Sometime ago I was asked if  I could make a glass red rose in a dome... Well at last I have found some domes  I'm happy with. I ordered them in Birmingham yesterday. When they arrive the first thing I'm going to do is make some roses go in them. This is the rose I was thinking of:

Standing Glass Red Rose for Valentine’s Day

Flowers that don't die... Carrying on the theme of glass roses I thought I’d show you a Glass Standing Red Rose for Valentine’s Day. Here it is:)

The rose is made out of clear glass with chrome fired into the leaves, which turns green. In the case of the red, that is a lamp lacquer, which is cured on to the surface of the glass.

The glass rose stands about 200mm (8inches) high.

 Her's a funny I came across:)

Valentine’s Day Dream

After she woke up, a woman told her husband, "I just dreamed you gave me a diamond necklace for Valentine’s Day. What do you think it means?"

"You’ll know tonight," he said.

That evening the husband came home with a small package and gave it to his wife. Delighted, she opened it--to find a book entitled “The Meaning of Dreams.”
