Glass swans their first kiss

The Valentine gift for one young person will be a pair of Glass Swans.
Here is a picture of the swans and their first kiss:

Kissing Glass Swans

With Valentine’s Day coming up, I thought it would be a great time to think about that first kiss. Do you remember yours? Did you know this person a long time or was it someone you just met? Where was it? Was it when were accompanying someone home? :/ After delving into my dim and distant past I can't remember this "memorable" event. When I mentioned this dilemma to a friend (who shall remain nameless - you'll understand why!) said he had no problem remembering it at all. It was with a mirror! On reflection I always thought he had a big ego.

Red Heart in crystal clear heart for Valentine’s Day

I thought you might like to see a Red heart hanging in a crystal clear heart for Valentine’s Day.

I made the lace worked heart in the flame and pressed the centre circle out between two pieces of broken metal rasp.

Standing Glass Red Rose for Valentine’s Day

Flowers that don't die... Carrying on the theme of glass roses I thought I’d show you a Glass Standing Red Rose for Valentine’s Day. Here it is:)

Standing Glass Red Rose for Valentine’s Day
The rose is made out of clear glass with chrome fired into the leaves, which turns green. In the case of the red, that is a lamp lacquer, which is cured on to the surface of the glass.

The glass rose stands about 200mm (8inches) high.

 Her's a funny I came across:)

Valentine’s Day Dream

After she woke up, a woman told her husband, "I just dreamed you gave me a diamond necklace for Valentine’s Day. What do you think it means?"

"You’ll know tonight," he said.

That evening the husband came home with a small package and gave it to his wife. Delighted, she opened it--to find a book entitled “The Meaning of Dreams.”

Glass rose to go inside a Heart for Valentine's Day

Today I’m working on a glass rose to go inside a glass heart for Valentine’s Day. The rose is sandblasted to give the frosted finish lamp lacquer is applied to give the rose its colour. the leaves are sprayed with chrome, which sinks into the glass and turns green in the kiln. Here’s a picture of it:

An ideal gift for the one you love.

Here's a little quote I came across:

When you Love Someone, Its some thing. . . When someone loves you, it's another thing. When you Love the Person Who Loves U Back, THEN it's everything . . .
