Glass Snowdrops

Today I was in the garden and noticed the snowdrops were out :) In this part of the world the snowdrop is the first flower of the year that tells us life is beginning. they appear towards the end of Winter, and if we're lucky spring wont be far behind.
Of course a good thing about our Glass snowdrops is they don’t need any water and don’t die. ;)
Here’s a picture of the glass snowdrop set: (Latin: Galanthus nivalis)

Glass snowdrops for Mother’s day in the UK 2013 is 10th March

The flower that tells us life is beginning towards the end of Winter Is the Snowdrop.

Our Glass snowdrops don’t need any water and don’t die.

The first flowers of the year (these will last), are a really good gift for Mother’s Day.

If like me you can’t remember when the UK mother’s Day is each year because it’s always changing. Just remember Mothering Sunday in the UK is always 3 weeks before Easter. By the way it’s March 8 in lots of other countries, which means its not Mothering Sunday, but Mother’s Day :)
