Here's a Glass Mum Heart as its Mother's Day in the UK and other places around the world. Something for your Mum :)

Saw this and thought of my Children:
Aled: I think my mom’s getting serious about straightening up my room once and for all.
Owain: How do you know?
Aled: She’s learning to drive a bulldozer.

My First Glass Cyclamen

Keeping on the theme of flowers here is my first attempt at Glass Cyclamen for Virginia. The colours are oxides fired into the surface of the glass. The pink is created using gold the green is using chrome and the blue is cobalt. Hope you like it.

A Glass Crocus Set for Mother’s Day

A Glass Crocus Set for Mother’s Day (only 4 Days away!), which in the UK is getting closer (March 10th). Glass flowers are always a nice spring gift on Mothers Day, especially as the flowers don’t need watering or die soon after receiving them. Here’s a picture of the Glass Crocus set:

Glass Primrose for Mother’s day

Mother’s Day is getting closer in the UK…   The end of winter sees lots of plants waking up, one of which is the primrose. So here is a glass primrose set:

Glass snowdrops for Mother’s day in the UK 2013 is 10th March

The flower that tells us life is beginning towards the end of Winter Is the Snowdrop.

Our Glass snowdrops don’t need any water and don’t die.

The first flowers of the year (these will last), are a really good gift for Mother’s Day.

Here’s a picture of the glass snowdrop set: (Latin: Galanthus nivalis)

If like me you can’t remember when the UK mother’s Day is each year because it’s always changing. Just remember Mothering Sunday in the UK is always 3 weeks before Easter. By the way it’s March 8 in lots of other countries, which means its not Mothering Sunday, but Mother’s Day :)
