Glass goats for Philadelphia Zoo

I made three glass goats for the PhiladelphiaZoo, which is the oldest zoo in the USA. What a great commission. I made the goats out of molten glass in a flame. Mary love at the Philadelphia Zoo organised the engraving and base from a trophy maker in Philadelphia, who mounted the glass goats on their bases.  I really enjoyed doing them. Here are a couple of pictures:

And NO that's NOT a picture of me behind the glass goat :)
Here is my first attemp at that scale. As you'll see the horns are different and the coat is more bobbley.

Funny... Saw this about a clever goat :)

Religious Cowboy The devout cowboy lost his favorite Bible while he was mending fences out on the range. Three weeks later, a goat walked up to him carrying the Bible in its mouth. The cowboy couldn't believe his eyes. He took the precious book out of the goat's mouth, raised his eyes heavenward and exclaimed, "It's a miracle!" "Not really," said the goat. "Your name is written inside the cover."
