A Glass Snowdon
Lily Set for Mother’s Day (only 3 Days away!), which in the UK is getting
closer (March 10th).
The Snowdon lily
grows on the highest mountain in Wales, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)
It was originally known as mountain spiderwort, but is now known
in Great Britain as the Snowdon lily, or in Welsh as brwynddail y mynydd (meaning
"rush-leaves of the mountain"). In North America, it is called the common alplily.
Glass
flowers like the Snowdon Lily are always a gift on Mothers Day, especially as
the flowers don’t need watering. Here’s a picture of the glass Snowdon Lily set:

Son: Dad, do you know the difference between a pack of
cookies and a pack of elephants?
Dad: No.
Son: Then it’s a good thing Mum does the grocery shopping!
