Pole wires on Fire

What excitement tonight! Shortly after a WI (yet another nice group) evening visit the wires on our telegraph pole burst into flames. It seems there was a loose connection. I’m not saying it was anything to do with the fact I had just switched the Kiln on for the night time firing. What I want to know what did the Women’s Institute do? What powers to they actually have? No electricity here at the Glassblobbery for most of the evening. Hears a picture near the start of the power demise:

Bent Candle in Carved wooden candle stick at the Glassblobbery

The weather has cooled, which is good for David Thomas' hand carved candle holders. Have look at this picture.

Rooter trouble... No internet for 12 days. Thank you AOL.

Hurrah! The inter web is back after having a problem with my rooter.
AOL were not very helpful at sorting my lack of internet… it was all down to the rooter.

Happy Rooter :)

Unhappy Rooter :(

As I make rooters I thought I’d show you one of my rooters….

Steam cars in the Glassblobbery car park!

Members of the National Steam Car Association came to visit and parked their amazing Steam cars outside the Glassblobbery today.  What a fun bunch of people :) Here are pictures of some of their cars.

What part of the steam car is the laziest?
