Glass Dragon mounted on river rolled quartz

I’ve done a Glass dragon mounted on a piece of river rolled quartz, which I thought you might like to see.

The quartz was out of a river that flows into Bala Lake. Here’s a picture of the dragon on the quartz:

I was really excited when I took this glass dragon sculpture out of the kiln and put it on a mirror. The light bouncing up through the glass with the colours looks so good. Here is another picture of the  dragon figurine:

Is this a season to give up smoking...

Q: Why did the dinosaur live longer than the dragon?
A: Because it didn’t smoke!

I made a Dancing glass pig for some American visitors today when it's out of the kiln I'll post a picyure ... its good fun :)
