Valentine's Day - Glass Dragons In Love

I was asked if I would make some Glass Dragons roughly in the shape of a heart for St Valentine's Day. After a couple of drawings I thought I'd make a small version of the glass dragons first to see what it looked like. Here's a picture of me working on the design...

Wall Hanging Red Glass Dragon

Opened the kiln today to find 2 large Glass Wall Hanging Red Dragons cuddling to keep warm. The kiln had only been up to 690 degrees Centigrade (1274 F). Well they are only newly born #dragons. They will be flying over seas to find a good home... Lucky beasties ;)  By the way they are £197 ($290) each. Here's a picture of one of the red dragons. My son has told me if you like the dragon I have to ask you to share him with your friends ;)

Glass Dragon mounted on river rolled quartz

I’ve done a Glass dragon mounted on a piece of river rolled quartz, which I thought you might like to see.
The quartz was out of a river that flows into Bala Lake. Here’s a picture of the dragon on the quartz:

Coloured Glass dragon - Amazing colours

I eventually found a picture of the coloured glass dragon I’ve been working on…  There are some amazing colours that came out of the last firing. Here's a picture of it:

I get asked if we ship things. Here is what the customer said aboutthe dragon above:

"Have just unwrapped the dragon and I just wanted to say thankyou It is
all that I hoped for and more. I am sure my friend will love it as much
as I do!"

I love it when someone likes what I do :-)
